For Christians, there has unendingly been ongoing questioning concerning what we believe, and why we believe it. There atomic number 18 countless opinions on certain touchy topics about Christianity. Brian D. McLaren real took it upon himself to give effort on answering ten questions on the Christian faith in his book, A New soft of Christianity. These questions, gibe to most evangelical Christian leaders, have already been answered. However McLaren does not seem to be satisfied with their theology, and strives to go deeper with them. Although McLaren does make some good points, his opinions can be delusory and not completely accurate. From the view of the bibles storyline, to opinions on sexual practice, to the right smart we read and understand the bible, McLarens opinions are erratic but bring about a lot of unfavorable thinking to the readers minds.
How can we find a way to manoeuvre human sexuality without fighting about it?
The topic of sexuality in todays society can be a touchy subject to get into, especially in the church. For years, homosexuals have been turned away from the church.
McLaren does not exactly admire of this lifestyle either, but he does think that beau ideal is kind and can accept the homosexual lifestyle because of his loving characteristic. It is fresh in the bible that this lifestyle is not right according to God, but He also makes it clear that He loves everyone unconditionally, and wants the scoop out for us. Therefore, God may not approve of the lifestyle, so He will still love people who are dealing with this and help them modify their lifestyle to one that would glorify God to the fullest. He can do this in a way so that one can still be cheerful and agreeable with their new life.
