The Real and the precedent in amative Literature
In an epoch dominated by social expectations, the 19th Century followed extremely idealistic principles. These Ideals were presented throughout the social structure and thus carve up it into classes. A capitalisation upon wealth and gender, two of the most tumid in a list of social divisions, highlight the accompaniment that these Ideals were flawed, providing for a certain assembly. Ultimately, as history has shown, only the wealthy, downhearted man was able to truly substantiveise and feel sceptered by the ideals that were created. This, we understand is one of the main principles expressed in the Marxist theories of Ideology, a topic I will rachis later and which creates an understanding of the real and ideal in quixotic Literature.
Against the confines of this Idealistic society however, some emerged who expressed (although non always blunt and openly) how there were faults in this ideal humanity and sought to portray the real. Some of the roots of the Romantic Movement began in literature.

This presents a problem when analysing the literature of the Romantic limit because what is offered is always biased, and therefore cannot be presented as such. What we have to remember, when discussing the real in literature, is that it is primarily what is real for the author and not a direct representation of society.
In Romantic Literature, the concept of the Ideal presents a sense of an imagined equality, which appears to satisfy everyone, but in fact oppresses the majority.
